Marc Pütz-Poulalion has been providing legal counsel exclusively in intellectual property for well over twelve years. His work includes both representing clients in proceedings before German and European agencies and enforcing IP rights and competition law claims in court. In 2010, Mr. Puetz-Poulalion received the qualification, Certified IP Attorney.
His clients include companies from Germany and abroad, in particular those from the pharmaceutical, food, clothing, furniture, lifestyle, technology and finance sectors. Moreover, he specializes in providing French language counsel to French and French-speaking clients.
From 1990 to 1995, Marc Puetz-Poulalion studied law and romance languages in Cologne and Paris. Mr. Puetz-Poulalion has acute insight of the entrepreneurial perspective, incl. related needs and expectations gained from his years of experience as domestic and international counsel for major international companies. This has greatly contributed to his practical familiarity with issues surrounding the international enforcement of legal rights. He is the author of the chapters on "Domain Law" and "Trademark and Product Piracy and Border Confiscation" in the Handbook Trademark and Design Law (Ed. Stoeckel / Lueken). Marc compliments his practice by routinely speaking on current issues of trademark and design law.
After building his own firm from 2007 to 2010, he joined the firm as a partner in July 2010.
